About Me

As the Media and Communications Officer, I’ve played a leading role in our club’s outreach and internal operation, including creating promotional material such as mass emails, flyers, content creation, and planning community projects. Additionally, I’ve engaged our members in class discussions educating them on environmental racism, news of environmental legislation/policies, and theoretical frameworks for understanding intersectional environmentalism. Being on the southwest side of Chicago, marginalized communities are faced with the greater effects of pollution and climate change, and I’m proud to say that I’ve made an impact in this club.
